What's In My Hand : Alfred's Diary : 16th May 2024 : Entry 01
Dear Diary,
Over 12 years ago I got the revelation I call "What's In Your Hand" while listening to a sermon by a different name.
The concept is about God asking Moses what's in his hand. It was a rod... just a stick. God used what was in Moses hands to perform miracles. God used what was in Moses hands set the people of Israel free from the slavery by the most powerful empire in the world at the time.
God doesn't need to give you anything new to change the world. He can use what's already in your hand to change the world. All he needs is what's in your hand.
Don't wait till you have something before you get started. Don't wait till you have the money. Don't wait till you have the people. Don't wait till you have the resources. Don't wait till you have the complete know how. Just get started.
I'll be kicking off a daily Webcomic series using just drawings on pencil and paper. I'm using what's in my hand. I'm not waiting till I have a working laptop or I'm a John Becema or Ray Anacketo before I start drawing and publishing my own comic.
I'm drawing on pencil and paper; taking a snapshot of it with my smartphone, and that would be my Webcomic.
I'll also have to record my music on my smartphone and mix it in an Android video editor on my phone.
The audio quality may not be the best but it's better than nothing. I'm using what's in my hand. It's better than nothing.
With what's in my hand I'll change the world.
