Faith Is A Living Thing (Book Excerpt from a book by Alfred)
Faith is a living thing.
It is written that Faith without works is dead (James 2: 20). That means that when you separate works from faith; what you now have is no longer a living thing.
It is works or actions that gives life to faith.
The problem with a lot of people is that their faith is not a living thing. Their faith is dead. It has no life.
Faith that is dead would be as though one does not have faith at all.
James 2:26 KJV
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
Faith without works or action is empty and dead. It is not different from no faith at all.
The truth is, it isn't True Faith at all because if you really believed... if you really had Faith, your actions would be on the same page with your belief.
Your belief and your faith has to be synchronised for your faith to be made alive.
It is just like how what someone says has to be in synchrony with what they do otherwise they are untrue....
