- See it as you just telling your story. You're just telling your experience. Don't see it like you're about to teach a lecture or get into an international debate.

- Avoid debates. Don't let it turn into a debate. If it's starts turning into one make it clear you're not there to debate, you are just here to tell your story. Whether the believe or not or what they do with it or not is up to them.

- Understand you don't have to know everything. Just share what you know and what Jesus has done for you.
- Be natural just like you would talk to someone you just met about a football game or basketball game or current event
- The conversation doesn't have to start with Jesus, religion or Christianity. Just Segway into it after 2 mins or when their guard is down. If you can't find a Segway then change to topic to telling them about you like you want to introduce yourself further or you want to give them an opportunity to know you better; then Segway into telling them about Jesus
- Open the conversation with something you have in common or something you notice the other person is already talking about or something they would like to talk about
