hello everybody I'm Alfred and you're listening to Alfred's Bible Club podcast let's open our Bibles to the Book of John chapter 3: 16 I'm bringing from the King James version of the Bible for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life praise the Lord now that's a very popular portion of the scripture there is hardly a person on that doesn't know that portion of the scripture however what I want to draw attention it's not just the fact that God so loved the world and he died in place of the world but I want to draw attention to something else deep within that passage of the scripture and it is God wants us to love the world the same way he loved the world he wants us to have that love that he had for the world that made him give his life for the Salvation of the world he wants us to have that same love you know it is WR that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost that's Romans 55 and hope make it not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given onto us which love is that it is the same love which which he so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life the same way God so self sacrificially gave himself you know and gave his son in the same way we should also put Soul winning and reaching out to others with the gospel ahead of our own family ahead of our own ones ahead of our own needs there are some people that have the mindset of oh my parents are pastors they came about Ministry than me you know there are a lot of people who condemn like ah the parent is a missionary the parent cares about wi s and reach out you know and helping with the AFF of the church more than spending time with his own children the same people do not complain when it's the case of the military if you join the US military or any military around the world you also are called at the moment's notice at the drop of your heart to go to the battlefield or to resume D at any point and leave your family and nobody complains about that but when somebody does that for God it's a complaint and even when you look at the business World there lot of parents who because of so much to do with how human economy has been structured they spend a lot of time at work and a lot of children grow up with resentment that they didn't get to know their parents you know their parents were always at work their parents car about business even wives had that mentality that mentality is wrong when they are with you appreciate them and understand that the mission is more important in this case the mission is the gospel you know but when it comes to the world of business you have to realize that the most successful businessmen in the world are those who spend more time doing business than spending time with their family or galavanting around you know there are women who want a multimillionaire or a billionaire you have to understand one characteristic of a multimillionaire or a billionaire if a woman who you know you are hungry for a wealthy man understand what comes with it men who are multimillionaires or billionaires love their work and spend more time at their work than anything else so if you actually end up marrying a multi-millionaire or a bilon it is you and that house that will be best friends he will be majority of the time at work running to and through making money that is the reality you know so you have to think about this things and things but to bring it back to the scripture we have to put the gospel first we have have to prioritize and know this is more important stop raising your children or encouraging children to be raised to think that their parents life should revolve around them or they should put they themselves in front of their mission and their purpose in life understand something if you're a child your parents were born before you your parents came before you so your parents had a purpose before you so before you were born your parents already had a purpose for living your parents already had a mission from God so that takes priority over you you know you yourself you should focus on what your own mission is learning what your own mission is of course it is going to have to point at the end of the day towards winning Souls towards impacting the world for J towards the ministry of reconciliation because that's what we are all here for we are all here to spread the gospel and to make the world a better place with the gospel but the path that you take to do that could be different for one person it could be becoming a basketball Superstar for somebody else it could be working in an office somewhere for somebody else it could be starting a business you know it could be different so that's between you and God you know to figure that out you know actually for you to figure that out you know God already has figured things out and has planned things out you know before you were born so it's up to you to learn what his plan so to get back to what we saying you should put the mission first and you should love the world the same way that God Lov the world including your enemies let's look at the Book of Matthew chapter 5: 43 to 45 I read now this is Jesus speaking you have heard that it has been said thou shall love thy neighbor and ha thy enemy but I say unto you love your enemies bless them that CA you do good to them that hat you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you so you see when people persecute you you pray pray for them don't pray that they die pray that good things happen to them pray that they get to know Jesus wish well for them wish that of course that they stop persecuting you pray that they stop persecuting you it's not like they persecuting you and then you are praying that everything will go with them without praying that the persecution stop you also pray that they stop persecuting pray that they come to know Jesus they come to you know have an encounter with on the RO to thec moment understand this is the spirit that you according to this is who we are we are not of the Old Testament this is the New Testament and this is how we behave in the New Testament you know in the Old Testament be a of smiting their enemies down but in the New Testament we love our enemies you know so also keep in mind that it says that you need to bless them that cost you this is interesting and this refers to this also links to what he said about you know hipping on their head you know when somebody does wrong to you you pay evil with good this is a spiritual principle and this is why some people they live their life and it is on a different level you know you are not supposed to Cur those that Cur you there is actually a blessing upon every Christian that is under the abrahamic Covenant keep in mind the less is included in the greater the Christian is not in Covenant with God we are a result of the Covenant and the Lesser is included in the greater so everything that is within the abrahamic Covenant and much much more is within the relationship that we have with God we are on a much better plane and inside the abrahamic Covenant is I will bless them that bless you and CA them that c you so already anybody that cures you without you doing anything it is an automatic Boomerang they have costed themselves however you nullify that when you cost them you change things around you turn that principle around against yourself you walk against yourself when you cost them so when they cost you don't C them rather bless them rather forgive them because and if you keep quiet that is not a sin but the C is still going to go after them anything they say towards you or anything they do towards you is going to go back to them as long as you do not try to be the hand of Vengeance yourself when you try to the hand of Vengeance yourself when you pray for your enemies to die when you CA your enemies when you be the one that want to go after your enemies because your enemies came at you now you are breaking the principle and you are changing things and you now put yourself in trouble and to show you how serious the trouble entering is let me keep on reading Matthew chap 5 you have heard that it has been thou should love thy neighbor and hate thy enemy but I say unto you love your enemies bless them that cause you and do good to them that hat you and pray for them which despise F use you and persecute you that you may be children of your father which is in heaven you see that that you may be children of your father which is in heaven in other words if you do not do this you are not a child of your father in Heaven you're no longer a child of God you're exempting yourself from being a child of God so when you pray for your enemies to die you are exempting yourself from being a child of God When You Wish evil for your enemies you are exempting yourself from being a child of God what a punishment so take note I'm not the one who wrot the Bible is here that you may be children of your father which is in heaven for he make his son to rise on the evil and on the good and sending rain on the just and on the unjust so it's telling you how to maintain your sunship with God and how you can lose it you can lose it by cing your enemies when it is them that first cost you so understand that we have to have the same love this John 3:16 love that God had for the world and has we
