Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., better known by his stage name Nelly, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and entrepreneur. He embarked on his music career with Midwest hip hop group St. Lunatics in 1993 and signed to Universal Records in 1999. Under Universal, Nelly began his solo career in the year 2000, with his debut album Country Grammar, of which the featured title track and the single "Ride wit Me" were top ten hits. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and went on to peak at number one. Country Grammar is Nelly's best-selling album to date, selling over 8.4 million copies in the United States. His following album, Nellyville, produced the number-one hits "Hot in Herre" and "Dilemma". Other singles included "Work It", "Air Force Ones", "Pimp Juice" and "#1". With the same-day dual release of Sweat, Suit and the compilation Sweatsuit, Nelly continued to generate many chart-topping hits. Sweat debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 342,000 copies in its first week. In the same week of release, Suit debuted at number one, selling around 396,000 copies in its first week on the same chart.

hello everybody i'm alfred and i would like to talk about the music album hats land by nelly now interestingly you know um nelly has been doing this kind of thing he's the one who came out with sweat and suit so it's like in that it was like the mixture of two walls you know the the um sweats and suits you know representing you know the the artists from the streets and then they were also the businessman nelly the businessman then nelly the guy from the urban guy from the streets you know which is actually what ci copied when he was doing his own ti versus cip but many people don't know that but that being said with this now first of all you have to remember that nelly is the first one who came up with mixing country music with rap and making it big you know with a song over and over again he did that and then of course we have um people like little aztecs you know who later on capitalized off that but with nelly doing this you know and heartland you know he's trying to mix he's bringing that country you know country music with rap and mixing the two of them and nelly is somebody who's very talented and he has the very deep understanding of booktube music together i remember when i believe it was feji you know she had a problem with the bad class song she called him to help fix it and he fixed it and created a hit song you know he i think the name of the song is where my party people are or something like that you know and this is just a very powerful talent that nelly has you know he's not just a rapper but a very um great music producer people underestimate him in that aspect and his music production skills go beyond just rap you know so there is something that people don't understand he has a great understanding of music he's well um he's incredible when it comes to that the totality of the body of work when it comes to the quality it is amazing and it's it blows out the pack now let's talk about certain things first of all the age his age is not as young as he used to be now when he was uh much younger his target audience you know the people who grew up listening to him are now men who have children are now grown and have children of their own so

and who is he talking to is he talking to children is he talking to young people because the the subject matters that he's dealing with when he's still talking about the same kinds of things he was talking about in his early albums you know and when it comes to being promiscuous you know girls you know all of that is that what he wants to be making music about now who is he talking to it's just like um a young teenager doesn't want to go to a nightclub with his great grandfather or with his grandfather but that is what a lot of musicians don't understand that they are doing you know which is a big problem because number one you're not selling yourself to the younger generation are you not selling yourself to your previous farm base there are people in your families that may still like the like yeah they still um because of the nostalgia because this is the guy they listen to when we're young but what they are talking about no longer resonates with them they are not in that place in their life they don't have that kind of interest anymore they don't look at life that way they are now growing with children and have working you know office jobs so these things have to be put into perspective there's a reason why hip hop artists don't seem to have a following the order they get but in other genres of music as you are getting older their fan base is increasing for example gospel music it is because of the content so it is not pushing out any age you see the content is all those who are into god's community are all praising god you know and you want to hear somebody praising god so it doesn't matter as the person is getting older or like old love songs when you look at songs by marvin gaye and luther vandross the older luther vandross got the higher his music base increased because of the way he was talking about love but with the musicians now when you are talking about shaking that ass you know twerking and you know all these kinds of things that is something that is specific for a particular age group you know what we are saying adults and grown-ups are not going to want to listen to that together and that is not you know something that they are going to embrace there's a reason why someone likes to pack you know his songs still live on it is likely because of the topic not just the beats or the skills bk has skills you know and you can throw any of his vocals on any beats but it is the message and what he represented the message has a strong um thing to do with the with with the with the bond that he formed with the audience and this is unfortunate in in this case because you know a lot of rappers do this you have rappers that are 40 years old or you know going on 50 or so and and they are wrapping things that a teenager a a juvenile teenager rap about or rapping about you know in in this case thankfully it doesn't rape about violence but you know the perspective that they are talking about uh sexuality and sexual and you know um relations you know and so-called love and rumors you know the aspect and the way you're talking about it from is is from a juvenile child's perspective that is how the messaging is like the high horse song you know this is just something that is you know should be put out there that being said you know it is best that everything is done from a christian perspective and i would have preferred if the song you know the whole album was christian of course you can make love songs that are christian and are from a christian perspective like eric tavandra song you know let us say um um you think about love but you give props to god and you say i thank god i found you like um the song all my life by casey and jojo i pray for someone like you a lot of people sing that song in weddings you know um irrespective of whatever the feelings of the musicians are wherever they are in the relationship because the point is that you can create a lot of love songs that are crystal or from a christian perspective and that should be done you know after all when couples are together you know whether in bed at night for their outs you know on the tunnel perhaps you know having a picnic what kind of music would they be listening to that is that is not the time that anybody wants to hear um a [ __ ] object so he will pastor chris or you know um that kind of um teaching or perhaps hear a gospel song and as much as it is good a family that plays praise to get ourselves together you can fellowship together and that has its place but when it comes to the romance aspects you know there needs to be love songs and um christian um the christianity in itself is is losing out and lacking when it comes to love songs that has to do with the male and female that you know are done from a christian perspective that is very you know important because at the end of the day when um christians are making babies what kind of music do they listen to you know is it just blood naughtiness or is it um the secular music of the world because at the end of the day love is created by god romances from god and all of that but it has to be kept from a respective perspective you know it has to be respectable and it has to be kept within the conference of marriage and that is what should be proved which should be song about and you know exalted you know love and you know all of this within the confines of marriage you know because you meet somebody you know you you are you there you are dedicated to that person and you know you pledge yourself to that person for the rest of your life you know so that being said um if you like to be a part of making christian musical music transforming the entertainment landscape as a whole you know whether it is movies video games cartoons whatever you want to perhaps even want to start your own studio you want to be a part of us you know reach out to us we're looking forward to hearing from you you know on alfred.vip if you haven't given your life to christ check out alfredo's vip click the subscribe problem in the menu you know thank you and God bless you
